The FEBS Congress 2026: abstract submission and registration are open!

Call for abstracts

Alongside invited speaker talks at a FEBS Congress, the posters, speed talks and short talks from delegates play an important role in the overall knowledge exchange and networking at the event. We are therefore now pleased to invite you to play an active part in the 50th edition of the FEBS Congress by presenting your recent work on this international stage! Find all the details about abstract submission, including abstract topics, assessment, and presentation options, on the Congress website’s Call for abstracts page.

The main abstract deadline is 13 February 2026.

Meet the plenary lecturers

There are many elements to a FEBS Congress, but the plenary lectures, when participants come together to hear overviews and advances first-hand from distinguished research leaders, provide particularly enriching experiences. The plenary speaker line-up for the 50th FEBS Congress promises stimulating stories from across the molecular and cellular life sciences, including from two Nobel laureates. Discover the plenary speakers’ talk titles and short biographies on the Congress website’s Plenary speakers page. Several of these speakers will also be receiving awards or medals at the event for outstanding contributions.
